This is the newest building that housed our school, build in 1984, located in the centre of the city.
From the age of six to about twelve children start off at a primary school.
Till the age of fifteen they go to a secondary school.
The headmaster is Mr .Voutos Dionysios
who works in Cooperation with 24 teachers
There are 18classes for the six grades.
Every classroom is decorated with paintings made by the children and other hand-made supervisory stuff.
The student work in groups of 20 people.
Round the school there is a huge playground including basketball court, when children have lots of playing or relaxing between lessons
“In this projects the students are given the chance to collaborate with other students from Europe and exchange materials or develop ideas useful to understand the necessity of being part of this large community that Europe is however respect their own cultural heritage and keep the tradition alive”

Zoe, I can see that both your schools, Italian & Greek, are Twins ( at least the buildings ). What are other similarities?
In fact Rionero school is a very modern building .I like it . I like also Polish and Romanian buildings wich have been construcded according to traditional architecture . I think that we ‘ll discover similrities and differences as the project goes.
